“If I can win this race, I don’t care. I’m doing something that I love.”

Disabilities manifest themselves in many shapes and sizes, and it’s not often we’re exposed to those hidden to the eye. Australian Paralympic Athlete Erin Cleaver is actively using her voice to speak openly about the struggles she’s faced having been diagnosed with cerebral palsy from a young age and what it’s like living with a hidden disability.

When we asked Erin what she wanted to be in 2020, her answer was BE DETERMINED.

We sat down with Erin to talk about growing up with a disability, the importance of inclusivity and how competing in athletics has allowed her to push through her differences.

Meet the class of 2020 and join us as we ask them, “what do you want to be in 2020?”
